Re-capping

We will change your carpeted stairs to hardwood including new solid treads, risers, and optionally stringers and spindles. All are pre-finished in our shop, available in 282 stain colours, or custom made to match your existing hardwood floors and we will refinish your existing railing to match also. Treads are brought to your home prefinished, allowing you to use them immediately upon installation.

Refinishing

If your hardwood stairs need refinishing due to wear and tear, or if you would like to change the colour to match your new hardwood this is also possible. Railing, posts and nosings would all be refinished to match. Also, if you like, pickets could also be refinished or painted. Whether you'd like to reuse your existing railing, or install a brand new one, we can help you find the solution that fits your style and budget.
